防排烟系统是防烟系统和排烟系统的总称，防烟系统采用机械加压送风方式或自然通风方式，防止烟气进入疏散通道的系统；排烟系统采用机械排烟方式或自然通风方式，将烟气排至建筑物外的系统。防烟系统设置形式楼梯间正压，机械排烟系统的排烟量与防烟分区有着直接的关系，高层建筑的防烟设施应分为机械加压送风的防烟设施和可开启外窗的自然排烟设施。
